JOSAA Counselling 2019

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) will conduct counselling for the students who qulified JEE Mains and JEE advanced. The counselling process begins after the result declaration of Joint entrance exam mains and Joint entrance exam advanced. It starts after with registration and choice filling procedure. Through JOSAA Counselling 2019 students will get admission in 23IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITsand 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Only those students will take part in JOSAA 2019 counselling process who qualified JEE Mains and JEE advanced. You can check all important dates related to JOSAA counselling process.

• The announcement of JEE Main 2019 Result for April attempt – 30th April 2019
• Start of online registration & choice filling – In the 3rd week of June 2019
• The start date for choice filling for JEE Advanced AAT - 3rd week of June 2019
• Display of the Mock Seat Allocation – First Round based on choices - 3rd week of June 2019
• Last date for registration and choice filling - 4th week of June 2019
• Reconciliation of Data, Allocation of Seats, Verification, and Validation - 4th week of June 2019
• First Round of Seat Allocation - 4th week of June 2019
• Second Round of seat allotment – ist week of July 2019
• The result of 3rd Round of JoSAA Seat Allotment and Display of vacant seats - 2nd week of July 2019
• Display of seats filled status and Seat Allocation (Round 4) - 2nd week of July 2019
• Round Five of JoSAA 2019 seat Allocation - 2nd week of July 2019
• Display of seats filled status and Seat Allocation (Round 6) - 3rd week of July 2019
• Round seven of JoSAA 2019 seat allotment - 3rd week of July 2019

JOSAA 2019 Eligibility criteria

The aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling the JOSAA 2019 registration form. JEE Mains 2019 counselling would be conducted for the candidates who cleared JEE Mains 2019 exam. You can check the eligibility criteria in the following points.

• The candidates must have appeared in the JEE Main 2019 and cleared the examination.
• It is necessary that the candidate has obtained the Rank less than 2,24,000 in the JEE Main 2019 Ranks.
• Seats for the candidates would be allotted based on the Reservation Category.
• Earlier, candidates more than the age of 25 years were not allowed to appear for JEE Main Counseling but until the latest orders, the candidates can register themselves and apply for the admissions provisionally.
• The candidates aspiring for the admission in IITs must have cleared the JEE Advanced.
• Following Qualifying Examinations must be cleared for admissions in respective institutes.

• Log in using your JEE Advanced or mains login credential.
• Fill your personal details like name, date of birth etc.
• Submit your scores and ranks.
• Enter all the required details in the registration form.
• Verify all the details and submit.
• Take printout for future use.
